Translating isn’t as easy a job as it seems or as most believe it to be.
Not only does it require a solid understanding of language but also the art of expression in the intended language, ensuring and keeping the emotions intact.
A fantastic case in point here is the recent campaign of #Tanishq.
The headline, EVERY WOMAN IS A DIAMOND is translated as हीरा हो तुम is a superb justice done to the emotions. Besides the headline, even the body copy is also treated equally well. The brand manager and the agency, both deserve applause here.
